Description
And again my scanner messed it up My original drawing looks much better than this.
Anyway, this is Richard Armitage playing Guy of Gisborne in the BBC show 'Robin Hood'. I watched the entire show at the beginning of the year and loved it immediately.
I've to say the reference I used wasn't the best one. First, it's hard to recognize Richard (if you say you wouldn't recognize him I could only agree). Second, it's not the typical Gisborne-look, not without his smile. But I loved the look of loneliness and sadness, so I decided to give it a try.
The white spots in his hair were actually limestone pieces, but I changed it to let it look like snow. I've also added several snowflakes.
If you're interested to see what changes I made, you can find the original photo here.
I've also used this drawing to make a hair tutorial, which can be found here.
tools: see tutorial
duration: no idea, as always
size: approx. 21 cm X 29 cm
