Once upon a time there were no colours to dye the sky, the sunsets and flowers. The world was grey and the people who lived there couldnt see the true beauty of nature. But there was one young woman, who felt that there is something missing in the world.
One day she went into the forest and came to a small pond with ancient ruins around it. She sat there, and on the spur of the moment, she began to pray. At her words, a miracle took place. At first it was her skin, then her clothing, which shined in all kind of colours. Then the hem of her dress melted and with the first drops falling into the water, the grey of the surface turned into green and blue. Little by little the colours spread over the forest, the country, and then the rest of the world. And thats why, to this day, people can rejoice in natures play of colours. ********************************************** As promised here is the short tale Ive written for this picture. It may not be perfect, but Im proud to have something written in a language that is not my own. Special thanks go to =tanabatablossom who proofread it. Thank you, sis! I had to redo some major parts of the background on the right side. I even added the statue, although I didnt want to do it at first. With this picture I tried to do some things Ive never done before, for example so many flowers or the indian style. So this picture was a challenge for me in more than one way. Im not entirely satisfied (yes, I know, like always You can see some close-ups here.
